It’s another new day in Tijuana, but this time it feels a little different. After an offseason that saw El Equipo Sin Fronteras bring in thirteen new players and a new manager, signs are pointing toward Tijuana being a dark horse to make some noise in the Liguilla.
Tijuana has had managerial changes before, but bringing in Pablo Guede after what he was able to accomplish in Morelia with what he was given to work with is exciting. Guede had Morelia in ninth place when Liga MX stopped, but the club was tied with five other clubs at 14 points with Tigres and Juárez in the hypothetical Liguilla spots due to goal differential.
