Mohamed Salah may leave Liverpool “in a season or two” if the club fail to secure silverware, according to Egypt coach Javier Aguirre.
The 26-year-old striker is arguably the Reds’ marquee player on Merseyside following a superb 2017-18 campaign that saw him score 32 goals in 36 league games and fire Jurgen Klopp’s side to the Champions League final.
The Pharaohs forward also scored twice for his country in their first World Cup appearance in 28 years when they featured at Russia earlier this year in Group A.

However, Salah is yet to secure a trophy since his move from Roma at the beginning of last season, while Liverpool themselves have not seen any major honours since the 2011-12 League Cup under Sir Kenny Dalglish.
