Ryan Giggs has reportedly agreed upon a compensation fee with Manchester United. He will cut ties with the club this summer after 29 years at Old Trafford.
BBC Sport's Simon Stone reported on Friday that Giggs is now poised to depart after he was "unable to reach agreement over another role" with the Red Devils, almost three decades after arriving as a youth in 1987.
The Welshman served as assistant to axed chief Louis van Gaal, but new United manager Jose Mourinho will instead bring in long-time friend and workmate Rui Faria to fill that role.
