Benfica president Rui Costa has been asked about speculation that his club are keen to bring Joao Felix back this summer from Atletico.
Felix’s future is uncertain after his loan deal with Barcelona expired. The forward is keen to stay, but Barca’s priorities seem to be Nico Williams and Dani Olmo instead.
Costa was asked directly about speculation his club want Renato Sanches and Felix and offered up the following response - saying that talks are ongoing.
“What we want are good players. All these names have been mere speculation in the press, it’s part of the current market situation,” he told reporters.
