Derby County captain Wayne Rooney will manage England at Soccer Aid for Unicef to be held later this year.
The Three Lions all-time leading goalscorer will work alongside co-manager Sam Allardyce, with David Seaman serving as goalkeeping coach for the one-off match to be held at Old Trafford.
Rooney, who joined Derby last season in a player-coach role, has been granted permission to take part in the match as he gains some unique managerial experience and raises awareness for an important cause.
