Ronaldinho has recently revealed just how close he came to joining Manchester United in 2003, and it would appear the Red Devils have quite the fan in the Brazilian legend.
The star, who ended up joining Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain instead of switching to Old Trafford, was asked by 90min (via Metro) to name his best British XI and selected no fewer than six of the players who made their names under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville make up the spine of Ronaldinho's team, while Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool chip in with the remaining components.
