Netherlands coach Ronald Koeman has taken aim at Barcelona after seeing Frenkie de Jong ruled out of Euro 2024 due to injury.
De Jong suffered an ankle injury in April but joined up with the squad ahead of the tournament and had been hoping to be play in Germany.
Yet the national team confirmed on Monday he had been ruled out of contention, and Koeman said Barcelona were to blame.
“We decided this afternoon. We have considered that Frenkie de Jong will not be fit for the next three weeks,” he told reporters.
