Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo is set to undergo surgery on the muscle injury he picked up while playing for Uruguay at the Copa America.
Araujo sustained a muscular problem and returned for further tests on Monday at Barcelona where the decision was taken for him to have an operation.
The news is a massive blow for both Barcelona and Araujo and means he’s now expected to miss the next four months.

Tests carried out at the Ciutat Esportiva have shown that R. Araujo has a right hamstring injury.
