Ronald Araujo has been asked about his future after arriving in Uruguay to link up with the national team for the Copa America.
There has been growing speculation that Araujo could be sold this summer to ease the club’s financial problems.
Araujo insisted once again he’s happy at the club but didn’t exactly shut down the transfer talk entirely with his reply.
“I’m very well, I’m calm. I have a contract until 2026” he said. “Now my representatives will meet with the club, but now I am focused on the national team.”
Araujo also insisted he was fully fit after missing the last few games of the season due to a knee injury, adding: “I am one hundred percent recovered.
