Barcelona center-back Ronald Araujo has been diagnosed with a small fracture in his cheekbone after suffering the injury during last Sunday’s win against Atlético Madrid, according to Diario SPORT.
Araujo finished the match and didn’t seem to have any issues right after the game, but the pain increased in the last couple of days and the Uruguayan was checked by the club doctors again, with further testing indicating a fracture.
Ronald is not expected to miss any time and will train normally with his teammates this week as they prepare for a monster La Liga clash against co-leaders Girona at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium on Sunday.
