It’s almost like a movie script. Ronald Araujo has been linked with a move away from FC Barcelona over the last few days, and there was even a rumor he’d refuse to be available for their crucial Spanish Supercup final against Real Madrid.
That was not the case, actually. Far from it. Iñigo Martínez went down injured with the scores still level 1-1, before the half-hour mark. Araujo had to come in and play. And so he did.
What happened next was Barcelona took complete control of the match and scored a further four goals, before Wojciech Szczu0119sny was sent off and Real Madrid pulled one back to make it 5-2.
