Mario Rui has left Empoli for Roma ahead of the 2016-17 campaign, signing a one-year loan deal with a view to a permanent move.
Roma has completed the transfer of Mario Rui from Empoli on a one-year loan deal.
The Stadio Olimpico side has paid a fee of three million euros ($3.3 million) for the 25-year-old, potentially rising to €4.5 million ($5 million) depending on performance-related bonuses.
Roma is obligated to make the deal permanent for €6 million ($6.6 million) if Mario Rui hits performance-related objectives.
