Rudi Garcia's side ran out a comfortable winner in the Rome derby with goals from former Premier League stars, while Felipe Anderson hit the woodwork.
Roma ran out a 2-0 winner over fierce city rival Lazio thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Gervinho either side of halftime, taking the Giallorossi to second in the scudetto race, behind Inter.
Dzeko, a summer signing from Manchester City, was awarded a penalty in controversial circumstances after 10 minutes after a foul from Santiago Gentiletti.
Both Felipe Anderson and Radja Nainggolan then rattled the woodwork in the first half but it took until after the break for the game to be decided, with a brilliant individual goal from Gervinho, leaving Lazio right back Dusan Batsa in his wake and finding the net.
