Robert Lewandowski has admitted Barcelona’s style of play took some getting used to when he first arrived in Catalunya.
The striker joined Barcelona after winning titles in the Bundesliga with Dortmund and Bayern but was still taken aback by the team’s rondos in training.
“We know that Barcelona has its own style. I always wondered why they played with so many passes, and why so short,” he told the club’s media.
“The speed of the rondos in the first training sessions was something that surprised me. I had to adapt because they wanted the players to be very close to each other.
