Robert Lewandowski spoke to the media on Saturday after scoring twice in Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Valencia in La Liga.
The hosts took the lead at Mestalla but Lewandowski grabbed an equaliser just before half-time and then scored the winner from the penalty spot early in the second half.
Lewandowski felt his team did not enjoy the best start but then improved and deserved all three points.
“I don’t think we played too well in the first 25 minutes but then it got much better. We had a few problems in the first half but I think we played a lot better in the second with three or four very young players,” he told reporters.
