Rivers United fought very hard before achieving their first away win of the season last weekend against Remo Stars in Sagamu and the club’s midfielder, Wasiu Jimoh posits that it is equally important for them to secure another three points against Niger Tornadoes in Port Harcourt on Sunday for different reasons.
Before the away win against Remo Stars last weekend the Pride of Rivers had started poorly in their last home tie with Wikki Tourists which culminated in a surprise 2-1 loss and Jimoh disclosed that they are in dire need of a win against the Ikon Allah Boys at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt to pacify their fans and also to improve their position in the NPFL Group A table.
