Bernardo Silva reportedly has a special clause in his contract that could allow him to join FC Barcelona.
In his latest contract renewal with Manchester City, Silva asked that his release clause be set at 58 million euro. In addition, he asked that such a clause could be paid in three installments of 19.5 million.
Those moves could help Barcelona sign the Portuguese midfielder, despite the club’s financial struggles.
Such a signing would depend on whether the Catalans can return to the so-called “one-to-one” rule, which basically means they could spend every euro they save or earn.
