Real Madrid reportedly held a meeting over the winter break to discover a solution to Cristiano Ronaldo's poor form this season.
According to Marca's Jose Felix Diaz, president Florentino Perez discussed the issue with captain Sergio Ramos, and the pair agreed for the defender to "lead an inquest."
In turn, Ramos had dinner with Ronaldo as well as Marcelo and Luka Modric, which "reiterated the club hierarchy's respect and gratitude" for the forward.
