FIFA officials have reportedly been arrested on Thursday morning as investigations into the governing body continue.
A fresh wave of arrests of FIFA officials have taken place in Switzerland, according to a report.
The New York Times reported that Swiss authorities had started a new series of arrests on Thursday as part of the ongoing investigation, which is led by United States officials.
The report said police were targeting current and former officials on charges including racketeering, money laundering and fraud.
It said president Sepp Blatter was not part of the list.
