It seems like a simple rumor coming from Brazil is indeed turning into Barcelona's first signing of the season.
According to a report from ESPN Brasil, Lucas Lima has agreed a five-year contract with the Catalan giants and will join the club in January once his deal with Santos is over. The 26-year-old's signing was asked by Neymar and president Josep Maria Bartomeu agreed to get the player on a free transfer.
The report also says that Lima will earn four million euros per season and will have a €5 million signing bonus attached to his deal.
