Use of the video assistant referee will continue in the English Premier League next season following a vote by all 20 clubs.
According to Martyn Ziegler of The Times, 19 clubs voted in favor of keeping VAR review in place for the 2024-25 campaign.
Per ESPN's Dale Johnson, Wolverhampton brought the potential removal of VAR up for vote, saying in a statement that "the price we are paying for a small increase in accuracy is at odds with the spirit of our game, and as a result we should remove it from the 2024-25 season onwards.
