Red Bulls sign Omer Damari as Designated Player

The forward joins from the Bundesliga on loan and will occupy a DP spot on the roster for the rest of the season.

The New York Red Bulls have announced the signing of Omer Damari on loan from RB Leipzig of the German Bundesliga.

The 27-year-old forward joins the club for the rest of the season and will occupy a Designated Player spot on the club's roster.

“We’re really looking forward to Omer joining the team,” said Red Bulls Sporting Director Ali Curtis said in a team release. “We follow a lot of the Red Bull-associated clubs pretty closely, so we’ve gotten to see him play on a number of occasions, and we think he can add a lot of quality to what we’re doing in the final third.
