New York Red Bulls defender Karl Ouimette was kicked in the back by an opponent while on loan to USL affiliate Red Bulls II in a truly ugly display.
Karl Ouimette went to Pittsburgh in search of some playing time, and a chance to improve his standing with the New York Red Bulls. He wound up leaving Saturday's USL clash between Red Bulls II and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on a stretcher before a visit to the hospital after a dirty attack by a disgruntled opponent.
Jamaican forward Romeo Parkes inexplicably kicked Ouimette in the back as Ouimette walked off the field after being issued a red card late in Red Bulls II 3-1 victory.
