BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) -- Alvaro Saborio and Luke Mulholland scored and Real Salt Lake beat the Chicago Fire 2-1 on Saturday for its first multigoal game since March.
Real Salt Lake (3-2-5) snapped a five-game winless streak and has not lost at Chicago (3-5-0) since 2009.
Saborio gave Real Salt Lake a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute. Jordan Allen crossed a ball to the top of the 18-yard box and Saborio calmly slotted it home.
It was the first goal by a RSL player since April 5.
Mulholland capped a nine-pass sequence in the 56th minute for a 2-0 lead.
