Marcos Llorente will reportedly resist any attempts to prise him away from Real Madrid as he is eager to follow in the footsteps of his father, great-uncle and grandfather, all of whom had lengthy careers with Los Blancos.
The 21-year-old midfielder is on loan at Alaves from Real and has only previously flirted with the Los Blancos first team, but he dreams of establishing himself at the Santiago Bernabeu to mimic father Paco, great-uncle Francisco Gento and grandfather Ramon Grosso, according to Giles Mole in the Telegraph.
Arsenal were recently reported to be interested in signing the young Spaniard, with Don Balon (h/t the Daily Star and via Mole) suggesting Gunners manager Arsene Wenger would "pay almost any price" to snap him up.
