David De Gea has "agreed a deal to join Real Madrid" from Manchester United, according to Spanish radio journalist Joseba Larranaga (h/t Alex Harris of the Daily Star).
Larranaga told radio station Cadena COPE that De Gea will be the opening signing of soon-to-be-installed boss Rafa Benitez's tenure (h/t Harris): "The first signing with Benitez will be De Gea. The goalkeeper has reached an agreement with Real Madrid, although it is something difficult that is (to negotiate with) Manchester United."
De Gea posted a terrific season between the Old Trafford sticks—winning United countless points with important saves—and represents the next Spanish No.
