Many FC Barcelona fans dreamed of signing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao this season, but one may have taken it too far.
David Suarez, a fan and Instagram influencer, created a custom made #11 Barcelona shirt bearing Williams’s last name and posted it.
It could be seen as a slight towards Raphinha - who not only plays a similar position to Williams, but wears that very same shirt.
Of course, the transfer did not come to fruition, leaving the fan looking a bit silly. And Raphinha himself decided to have some fun with it, commenting a series of laughing emojis on the picture.
