Glasgow Rangers have taken a major decision on Monday that the Ibrox club intends to implement the Coronavirus job retention scheme for a number of employees.
Premier League clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City, AFC Bournemouth, and Newcastle United have taken the decision to put some of the non-playing staff on furlough amid the coronavirus crisis. Liverpool initially had followed that route but the club have changed their stance on Monday.
Rangers have issued a statement where they stated that the club have considered that all employees should be treated fairly and with respect whilst they safeguard the club finances in such uncertain times.
