Ramos meltdown sinks Orlando City

Orlando City defender Rafael Ramos' nightmare few minutes cost his team a goal, and a man, in a 3-0 loss to the Columbus Crew.

It had been a bright start to the MLS season for Orlando City defender Rafael Ramos. But in a couple of minutes, two horrific mistakes essentially ended any chance his team had at coming away from Columbus with a point Saturday.

Ramos’ poor clearance in the 32nd minute led to Federico Higuain clever back heel finish to opening the scoring. Moments later, Ramos pushed up the right side and lost the ball. In an attempt to win it back, went to ground with a high boot in a reckless scissor challenge on Crew defender Waylon Francis.
