Rafa Marquez has called on his players to “fight to the death” for promotion ahead of Sunday’s play-off final second leg against Cordoba.
The tie is level at 1-1 after the first leg in Barcelona, with Marquez urging his players to give it their all and finish the season on a massive high.
“It was not our main objective, but as soon as it became a reality, we have to fight, fight to the death to try achieve the maximum objective. And today it becomes the maximum objective to try to win promotion,” he told reporters.
