Queretaro got their first victory of the season when they defeated Pumas by a 3-2 score even going down to 10 players. After dominating the early match, Pumas fell behind when Queretaro scored and surpassed them until the red card and yet Pumas failed to do much with a man advantage for almost 50 minutes. Pumas will now return home to face Atlas while Queretaro travels north to face Tijuana.
The 1st half started with Pumas not having Guillermo Martinez or Jorge Ruvalcaba, both in National team duty. Ignacio Pussetto would get the start in place of Martinez and Angel Rico would take Ruvalcaba’s.
