Pumas and Necaxa will battle it out on Sunday, with scrambling to get back into the Liguilla race. For Pumas, it might be a chance for some sweet revenge as they face a Necaxa team that eliminated them from the Copa MX just a few weeks ago. Necaxa, on the other hand, has shown a lot of promise at times and have some key away victories, but as of right now, their record has them out of Liguilla contention.
Pumas had one of the best starts of the season, but that is all just a memory now. Since losing on Valentine’s day at home to Veracruz, they have just gotten 2 points out of 18 possible.
