With a great second half performance, Pumas got their third straight win of the season after defeating Necaxa 2-1. Necaxa got an early goal and played well in the first half but Pumas completely dominated the second period to go joint-top of the league table with Xolos de Tijuana.
Pumas got to a terrible start when 50 seconds in, Jesus Isijara had a long range strike that opened the scoring.
Things then got even worse for Pumas when goalkeeper Marco Antonio Palacios got injured and had to leave the game.
The rest of the half had Necaxa sitting back as Pumas went on to play another bad half at home, which has been a constant so far this season.
