Pumas got a very important victory when they defeated Santos by a 2-0 score. Pumas got a key three points with the win that allows them to remain in the 10th and final spot for the Liguilla Play In series, one point over Chivas. Pumas was the better team but at times suffered against a Santos team that sits in last place and looks set to remain in it for a second consecutive season. Pumas will have a tough end to their season when they travel north to play against Tigres while Santos will end their 2025 Clausura season with a home match against Tijuana.
