Pumas and Toluca traded possession and chances in route to a 1-1 tie. Coach Antonio Mohammed made his return to Pumas, a year after stepping down from the coaching job and got soundly booed by a crowd that didn’t like the way he left his spot. It wasn’t the greatest match but Pumas bounce back a little but are still disappointing in the 2025 Clausura season. They will have their work cut out as they visit Atletico San Luis on Sunday. Toluca continues to struggle since the departure of goalkeeper Tiago Volpi and will have to bounce back at home against a tough Tigres.
