Premier League: What the clubs spent in 2015/16

Not a single Premier League club apart from Tottenham Hotspur have made a profit from their transfer dealings over the last two transfer windows.

According to reports from the Guardian, Spurs, who finished third in the league and secured an automatic Champions League qualification, have managed a (net) profit of £6.7m.

Spurs reduced their squad depth by selling a lot of fringe players from the squad last season. Paulinho was sold to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for £9.9m while the likes of Lewis Holtby, Étienne Capoue, Roberto Soldado, Vlad Chiriches, Aaron Lennon and Benjamin Stambouli all being sold.
