Premier League Table: 2018 Final Standings and Reaction After Week 38 Results

Mohamed Salah fired Liverpool to a top-four finish on the final day of this Premier League season. The Reds thrashed Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League at the expense of Chelsea, who lost 3-0 away to Newcastle United.

There was also a fitting sendoff for Arsene Wenger who marked his last game as Arsenal manager with a 1-0 win away to Huddersfield Town. Wenger's joy was shared by champions Manchester City, who finished on 100 points after getting a late winner at Southampton.

The Saints stayed up despite defeat, because Swansea City were condemned to relegation after losing 2-1 to Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium.
