Ronald Koeman’s future at Barcelona is dominating headlines once again with rumors coming thick and fast regarding who will replace the Dutchman at the Camp Nou.
It seems simply a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ the Dutchman is sacked following Wednesday’s horrible Champions League defeat at Benfica.
Speculation claims Koeman will be in charge against Atletico Madrid but could then get the boot to allow the new man in charge a couple of weeks to whip his new team into shape.
So who are the contenders?
Over at ESPN the word is that you can add Andrea Pirlo and Marcelo Gallardo to a list that already includes Xavi and Roberto Martinez.
