The UEFA Champions League knockout stage draw takes place on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland, and this promises to be a very fun selection. "Luck" is always a part of the draw, and some teams can have their entire future in the competition shaped by the strength of their opponents in the Round of 16.
This season especially, things are really interesting. After a somewhat crazy group stage, teams who won their groups are not exactly happy. Historically those teams would get an easier draw against the second-place sides who qualified, but this time around, it's tough. Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Sevila have all finished second, and the remaining three teams (Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica and Porto) are not easy either.
