WASHINGTON — When Tyler Deric gazes into the BBVA Compass Stadium crowd, he doesn't just see the Houston Dynamo faithful. The local product also sees his support system.
He sees the former teammates who drove him to youth tournaments a decade ago. He sees the friends he'd play night soccer with at a neighborhood church, flipping over recycling bins as goals and going until the police intervened in the early hours of the morning.
