Alejandro Silva scored two goals, Saphir Taider and Quincy Amarikwa each scored one goal and the Montreal Impact defeated the host Philadelphia Union 4-1 Saturday night at Talen Energy Stadium.

Ignacio Piatti added a pair of assists for the Impact.

The Impact (12-14-3, 39 points) climbed within one point of the Union (12-12-4, 40 points) for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.

Montreal earned just its third road win of the season and also registered its first win when the opposition scores first. It had been 0-12-1 heading into this game.

Auston Trusty scored for the Union, who had their five-game unbeaten streak snapped.
