Phil Jones faces an uncertain amount of time on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury during England's 3-2 win over Slovenia on Sunday.
The Manchester United defender was withdrawn at half-time in place of Adam Lallana, and the Telegraph's Henry Winter quoted manager Roy Hodgson adding detail of the blow:
Hodgson on Jones taken off" "He was injured. He fell clearing a ball, his ankle became swollen. He wanted to play on but the pain too much"

The injury is just about as well-timed as Jones could have hoped for, as England don't face another competitive fixture until Euro 2016 qualification resumes in September.
