Perth Glory's chief executive resigns after breaches of the salary cap led to the club being disqualified from the A-League finals.
Jason Brewer has resigned as Perth Glory's chief executive following the club's disqualification from the A-League finals for breaching the salary cap.
An extensive audit into the Glory's finances by Football Federation Australia (FFA) last week resulted in the governing body deeming the club to have systematically breached the cap throughout the last three seasons and by more than 400,000 Australian dollars this term alone.
Perth has subsequently been fined 269,000 AUD and barred from the 2014-15 playoffs.
