Pedri’s former boss, Pepe Mel, has offered Barcelona a little bit of advice on how to handle the 17-year-old starlet.
The new arrival has already made an impact at the Camp Nou, scoring his first goal for the club on his Champions League debut against Ferencvaros.
Mel, who coached Pedri at Las Palmas last season, says the best way for the teenager to develop is to simply enjoy himself out on the pitch.
“He is a natural talent. He made his debut with me when he was just 16 years old in the second division, if you let him have fun, he will grow a lot.
