Pellegrini: Record Sterling fee not a concern for Manchester City

The Chilean is confident the attacker will justify his expense after the 20-year-old 's transfer from Liverpool was finally completed.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is not worried by the 49 million pound ($76 million) fee that his side paid Liverpool to make Raheem Sterling the most expensive ever English player.

The 20-year-old completed his transfer on Tuesday after a protracted and acrimonious pursuit but, though the size of the deal alarmed some, the City boss says that it is worth it to sign the right man.
