Peerless Pedri sets new La Liga record and then breaks it three days later for Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Pedri dropped his latest masterclass on Tuesday night against Real Mallorca to ensure he walked off with yet another MVP award.

It was a deserved accolade for Pedri who is enjoying a stellar season and looks to be the best midfielder on the planet right about now.

The 22-year-old also set a new La Liga record during the game, breaking his own mark that he had set just three days previously.

Against Celta Vigo, Pedri won possession 17 times, setting a new record in La Liga. Yet he went one better against Real Mallorca, notching a new milestone that now sits at 18.
