Barcelona midfielder Pedri has been looking forward to the Spanish Super Cup and says lifting the trophy would give the team a good boost for the rest of the season.
The Catalans are in Saudi Arabia for a last four clash with Athletic Club, and the winners will go on to face Real Mallorca or Real Madrid in the final.
Pedri is hoping that Barca can lift the first silverware of the season which will provide Hansi Flick’s side with a big morale boost.
“Winning the Super Cup. I think it’s a really nice title, it’s in the middle of the season, and I think it’s a title that can give a lot of confidence to the team which I think is very good in the middle of the season and that’s key for upcoming matches,” he told Barca One.
