Pau Cubarsi is celebrating his 18th birthday and also a year in the first team at Barcelona since first being thrust into the XI regularly by Xavi.
While Lamine Yamal has taken plenty of plaudits it shouldn’t be ignored that Cubarsi has been arguably just as impressive in the heart of the Barcelona backline.
He’s also quickly become a fan favorite and has revealed how culers “give me goosebumps” when they sing “cu-cu-cu- Cubarsí.”
Cubarsi also told Barca One how he’s hoping for trophies this season and would love to lift the European Cup at the end of the campaign.
