Seeking a valuable home win before an extended road trip, Vancouver is aware of the need to claim points versus Real Salt Lake.
VANCOUVER – It has been lean run of recent results for Vancouver Whitecaps FC. After a fine - if not fortuitous - start to its MLS season, the Blue and White has seen the Western Conference predictably tighten up, with five points now separating new leader Seattle and sixth-place Sporting Kansas City.
The parity comes as no surprise to Whitecaps head coach Carl Robinson, with his side keen to put the disappointment of two straight league defeats behind them when they host Real Salt Lake at BC Place on Saturday afternoon.
