Pachuca won their sixth CONCACAF Champions cup after defeating the Columbus Crew in the one game final by a 3-0 score. Pachuca dominated the match as they benefited from their home field advantage and were the deserved winners against a Columbus side that started well, but wilted quickly. Pachuca qualify to the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup (AKA the old FIFA Club World Cup). They will also play at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The 1st half started with both teams coming out with strong lineups. 10 seconds into the match, Diego Rossi got off a right footed shot in the area that would force Pachuca’s goalkeeper Carlos Moreno to make a good save.
